  Judex Praetor Volume 1 Issue 1 (July 2025) focuses on the study of Contract Law and Contemporary Social-Family Issues. This edition presents a critical analysis of financing practices, including the implementation of the principle of consensualism in Islamic financial institution agreements (BPRS) and a comparative study of microfinance agreements (PNM Mekaar) from the perspective  of Islamic Law and Civil Law. In addition, this edition  explores the emerging social phenomenon of "Marriage is Scary" and "Childfree" among the younger generation, and complements it with a normative discussion of  the comparison of traditional and modern parenting patterns in the context of Qur'anic interpretation.
