Publishing Process

In general, every Online Journal has provisions in the periodic publishing process, as does JMTT. The JMTT issuance process has the following conditions:

1. Registration

Users through the OJS platform can register the author first. There are several things that the author must do, namely preparation, meaning preparing articles before sending them to journals. At this stage, there are several things that need attention.

First, articles that will be sent to be published in one journal are articles that are not being considered for publication in other journals. The article also may not have been published in another publication.

Second, the articles submitted must have at least certain components: namely, abstract, introduction, literature review, methodology, discussion, conclusion, and list of references.

Reference lists usually have to follow a particular reference style. Usually, journals also require that the articles to be sent also have references to one or several articles that have been published in that journal. The above arrangement is for articles in the form of research results. The article structure for other types of articles is usually not much different.

The second stage is to search for appropriate scientific journals. Topics discussed in the intended journal must be in accordance with the topic of the article. A topic mismatch will cause the journal to be automatically rejected. Then study the terms of writing articles. Each journal has different guidelines for writing articles; each journal manager has the authority to set its own writing guidelines. In general, the provisions for writing articles include writing matters such as the language used, the maximum number of pages, the type, and size of the font, writing an abstract, how to write tables and figures, and writing a list of references. Adjust the article writing format with the conditions owned by the intended journal. Discrepancies in the format of writing articles with the provisions of the journal can also cause articles to be rejected.

2. Submissions

This section is where the Author is ready with the manuscript of the article to be published. Authors can immediately make submissions after logging in to OJS. Authors can follow every flow in the submission form. After submitting, the author can wait for a response from the manager to be carried out at the next stage. Authors will receive notification via registered email.

3.Sections

In this section, the article that you submit will immediately be examined in terms of the format. If the format is appropriate, it will immediately go to the next stage for content review. If not, the manager will ask the author to revise the format according to the provisions of the journal. The format can be downloaded in the sidebar menu on this OJS JMTT. The author can see this information in the account that has been created which will contain the comments section and discussion column.

4. Reviews

Furthermore, if the format is appropriate, the manager will send the author's manuscript to 2 reviewers who have collaborated with JMTT, both internal and external reviewers. Peer reviews are carried out by people who are competent in their fields. The results of this review will determine whether the article that the author has made contains elements of uniqueness, and novelty so that there are opinions that have a chance for a sustainable theme according to existing trends. If the article is in accordance with what the reviewer recommends, it will be included in the layout process. In addition, the author will receive a statement letter (LOA) to state that the author's article has been accepted and will soon be published in the nearest volume. If it is not appropriate, the article author will receive a notification to revise it or even the article will be rejected.

5. Layouts

After the article is declared accepted, then the manager will send the author's article to be compiled into a format that will be packaged as an online publication according to the JMTT format. This layout will provide the author's article with the DOI identity, publication description, page position, and license used for the author as a reference for official claims.

6. Production

Furthermore, the manager will arrange for a group of selected articles to be published. Until this stage, the author will immediately be notified via email notification that the articles that have been sent and are going through the process will be published soon.

After going through the previous steps, the author can view published articles on the "Current" menu or on the Home page on the OJS JMTT platform. In addition, this journal will at least take 3x24 hours to be indexed in databases such as Scholar, Garuda, Copernicus, or other index providers.
